Gregori Hollis Quartet The Catalan trumpeter and composer Gregori Hollis presents us with his original music, where Afro-Cuban jazz and fusion with flamenco take center stage and where we can also enjoy his voice in some songs that he has prepared for the occasion. In addition, he will reveal some unreleased pieces from his new album, which will be published in November and which he recorded with his quartet. This quartet is made up of four emerging pillars of modern and Afro-Cuban music in Catalonia. Gregori Hollis has Ferran Rico on electric bass, characterized by his precision and delicacy, currently residing in Boston and studying at Berklee College of Music; Kevin Díaz on piano and keyboards, a virtuoso specialist in Afro-Cuban music and member of prominent groups such as Meritxell Nedderman, Compota de Manana or La Sra. Tomasa among others; and finally, David Gimeno, a brilliant and creative drummer who recently graduated from the Master in Performance at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam.
